The 2011 season saw introduction of new line of rear drum
mowers - K4BTC with operating width of 2.65 m and 3,00 m,
which substitute the current Z 154 in our offer.
New line of 4-drum mowers has central suspension,
which enables perfect ground following and wide range of
inclination to make operation on uneven ground possible. Big
strength of central suspension is even distribution of mower’s
weight onto the ground.
These machines feature spring unloading function of
cutterbar as standard. As an option, mowers can also be
equipped with hydropneumatic unloading function:
Application of hydropneumatic unloading assembly instead of
unloading springs is particularly needed with first mowing, on
seeding lucerne, clover, etc., in order to prevent freshly cut
stubble from damaging. It enables operation with mower
at minimum pressure onto the ground starting from approx.
70 kg. This system is integrated with hydraulic breakaway
safety device, which protects the cutterbar from damage.
If an obstacle is on the way, the cutterbar is retracted
backwards, while being lifted up by approx. 20 cm. Once
the obstacle is passed the cutterbar automatically returns to
its operating position.
