Perfect<br />
Despite large cutting width, the value for formed windrow can be<br />
set for 1.5 m. It is of particular importance in case of peat<br />
meadows. Owing to properly adjusted swath guides, the swath is<br />
formed to an even roll while green forage is not pushed into the<br />
ground by tractor’s wheels. By means of drums in the middle<br />
section of the cutterbar, it is possible to form the mowed grass<br />
into two windrows (for 3.40 m wide mowers only on special<br />
order).<br />
In case of very big farms,<br />
it is much more efficient<br />
to use disc mowers, for<br />
these have power<br />
consumption lower by<br />
approx. 20% and few time<br />
higher durability than<br />
equivalent drum mowers.<br />
