<strong>Celebration</strong> Area Council

It was another banner year for the
<strong>Celebration</strong> Area Council (CAC). Vanessa
Barnes, Chairperson for <strong>2013</strong>, led the way
for our first locally held Career Fairs in
collaboration with Stetson University and
the Kissimmee Chamber of Commerce.
They were attended by over 400 potential
employees with 20 employers with
candidates being hired on the spot.
We also held our 4th Annual Health and
Lifestyle Fair at Town Hall in partnership
with <strong>Celebration</strong> Parks and Recreation. We
would like to express our gratitude to our
sponsors Med-Life Institute, Florida Hospital, and Mom’s Meals,
our guest speaker Anil Gupta, author of Immediate Happiness,
as well as our many exhibitors for making this possible. We also
would like to thank Janet Martinez of LaSalle Computer Learning
Center for donating an iPad for the Health Fair raffle. The lucky
winner was Kim Colon. All proceeds from the event fund
scholarships for <strong>Celebration</strong> High School students.

Bohemian <strong>Celebration</strong> Hotel.
The revamped <strong>Celebration</strong> Magazine has
been re-released and new publications
are available at local businesses. It is also
distributed nationally to satisfy the thirst
for information for our unique and
illustrious community. It features articles
and maps of local interest as well as
advertising that keeps the community
thriving through commerce.
Kicking off the new year will be a Career Fair for Juniors at
<strong>Celebration</strong> High School held on Wed., Jan. 22 from 8-11 a.m. in the
Media Center. We are seeking professionals in their particular fields
to provide answers to students’ career questions, Ie: accountants,
medical field, technology, fitness etc. If you would like to participate,
