“Best One Ever!”

The Rotary Club of <strong>Celebration</strong> held their 15th annual Pancake
Breakfast and Run on Sat., Oct. 26. Thanks to the always-supportive
<strong>Celebration</strong> Firemen and women. They had the fire station all neat
and pretty as the volunteers showed up at 5 a.m. There were tables and
chairs to transport and set-up and along with the Rotarians were helpful
students from the Interact Clubs, <strong>Celebration</strong> High School (CHS),
New Dimensions High School, the <strong>Celebration</strong> K-8, the <strong>Celebration</strong> IB
students and the <strong>Celebration</strong> K-8 and CHS Cheerleaders who continued
to help throughout the course of the day. We could never have
done this without them!
At 8 a.m., the horn sounded and the 10K race began. 212 runners participated
in the 10K, 5K, and Fun Run. This year Rotary set the pace
for years to come as the race was timed and certified.
There were 35 generous sponsors for the event this year including
Shula Burger, IHOP, Town Center Medical, Dr. Peraglie,
Creative Sign Solutions, the Osceola Sherriff’s Department,
Epic Sports management, Sweet Escapes, Creation Kids Village,
Osceola CVP, Joe Magic, Shergroup Securities, AAA Chemical Toilets,
Baker Hostettler Law Firm, Market Street Café,
The <strong>Celebration</strong> Foundation,
Imagination Realty, LaRosa Realty,
Mirasol, Nectar Real Estate,
Panera Bread, USO Orlando,
Retriever Payment Systems,
Traditions Bank and Valpak of Central Florida. Rotary extends
a heart-felt thanks to these and to all of our sponsors.
Finally, thanks to all of our family, friends and community neighbors
who came and ate pancakes. We served over 1,000 pancakes and 1,000
sausages with plenty of fruit and coffee. Thanks to the Oxygen Café
for the gluten free pancakes that were out of this world! Early numbers
indicate that over $10,000 has been raised to fund our service projects
in 2014-15.
As we face the end of the year, the Rotary Club of <strong>Celebration</strong> would
like to extend our sincere wishes to everyone for a blessed Holiday
Season and for peace and good health in the New Year. We’ll start
planning the 16th Annual Pancake Breakfast and Run on January 2!
Be sure to join us again next October.

The Bridge Club
The Bridge Club in <strong>Celebration</strong> has a sanctioned ACBL game
every Friday at 11 a.m. at Town Hall, 851 <strong>Celebration</strong> Ave.
Please join us if you enjoy playing duplicate bridge.
All are welcome and you do not need to be an ACBL member.

16th Annual Holiday
Home Tour
Sat., <strong>Dec</strong> 7, 3-9 p.m. and Sun., <strong>Dec</strong>. 8, 1-5 p.m.
The annual Holiday Home Tour is the primary fundraising event for
The Women’s Club. Every home is unique and can range in size from
a condominium to a sprawling estate. The Club ensures ensure the
safety and cleanliness of all homes on the tour. To purchase tickets
