FOR A PERSON TO PERSON, PLACE TO PLACE TRANSFER OF A PLENARY RETAIL CONSUMPTION LICENSE HELD BY BCC LIQ LIC 2 (in pocket), and WHEREAS, the name of the applicant in the resolution should have read Gloucester Sakura, Inc. R-13:01-042 RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTICIPATION WITH THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY IN A SAFE AND SECURE COMMUNITIES PROGRAM ADMINISTERED BY THE DIVISION OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE, DEPARTMENT OF LAW AND PUBLIC SAFETY WHEREAS, the Township of Gloucester wishes to apply for $90,000 in funding for a project under the Safe and Secure Communities Program (Grant # 5752-13) and WHEREAS, the Township Council of the Township of Gloucester has reviewed the accompanying application and has approved said request, and WHEREAS, the project is a joint effort between the Department of Law and Public Safety and the Township of Gloucester for the purpose described in the application; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of Gloucester that: 1. As a matter of public policy the Township of Gloucester wishes to participate to the fullest extent possible with the Department of Law and Public Safety. 2. The Attorney General will receive funds on behalf of the applicant. 3. The Division of Criminal Justice shall be responsible for the receipt and review of the application for said funds.
4. The Division of Criminal Justice shall initiate allocations to each applicant as authorized. WHEREAS, the Township Council of the Township of Gloucester, County of Camden, determined that there is a need for Cherrywood Road Improvement Program WHEREAS, sufficient funds have been provided, and WHEREAS, the Township Council received bids or quotes NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Gloucester that the proper Township Officials are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with Asphalt Paving Systems, Inc. for the Cherrywood Road Improvement Program in the amount of $545,000.00 which was the lowest bid or quote received. R-13:01-044 RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE TAX COLLECTOR TO CANCEL 2013 FIRST HALF TAX BILLING FOR DELETED OR EXEMPTED PROPERTIES AS INDICATED WHEREAS, several of the following properties in the Township of Gloucester, as indicated by block and lot number, have been deleted from the 2013 Tax List by the Assessor and will be combined with another lot, and, WHEREAS, one of the following properties in the Township of Gloucester, as indicated by block and lot number, has been deeded to the Township during 2012 and is tax exempt, and, WHEREAS, one of the following properties in the Township of Gloucester, as indicated by block and lot number, has been approved for tax exempt status for 2013, and, WHEREAS, all of the following properties received an estimated billing for the first half of 2013 with the July 2012 tax bills in accordance with State regulations, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of Gloucester, that the Tax Collector be authorized to cancel the following properties= first half tax billings and clear each record accordingly, or apply any credits to master lot, or refund overpayments.
