Fight against corruption
- Continue administrative reform and
strengthening of local self-government, in
line with those standards, contained in the
European Charter on Local Self Government.
- Ensure implementation of recent reforms of
civil, criminal and administrative codes and
codes of procedure, based on European
standards;
- Continue the reform of the prosecution
system in accordance with the relevant
Council of Europe Action Plan (supported by
the European Commission/Council of
Europe Joint Programme);
- Address reported shortcomings in the work
of the law enforcement organs and
prosecution;
- Complete and implement reform of the court
system
- Effective implementation of ECHR
judgements;
- Enhance training of judges, prosecutors and
officials in the judiciary, administration,
police and prisons, in particular on human
rights issues (EC/CoE Joint Programme)
- Join the Council of Europe Group of States
Against Corruption (GRECO) and
implement relevant recommendations.
- Revision of the Ukrainian national strategy
for the fight against corruption;
- Promote transparency and accountability of
the administration, in particular concerning
the reform of the civil service based on
European standards;
- Implement relevant measures as foreseen
under the JHA scoreboard
