1. <strong>Dickinson</strong> High School Booster Club 4 Star-3 Sport Award winners (athletes<br />

participating in at least three sports all four years of high school) are:<br />

Whitney Wellenstein, Logan Hippe, Mitch Kudrna, Katelyn Steffan and Dusty<br />

Yates.<br />

2. Lynn Messer is the <strong>Dickinson</strong> High School nominee for the 2007-2008<br />

school year for the North Dakota High School Activities Association<br />

Distinguished Student Award.<br />

3. Nakoa Baker was awarded the Roger Stone Scholarship ($500).<br />

4. Joan Selle was awarded the $1,000 Jack L. Carlson Memorial Scholarship.<br />

5. Mitch Kudrna was named the H.J. “Harry” Weinbergen <strong>Dickinson</strong> High<br />

School Male Athlete of the Year.<br />

6. Katelyn Steffan was named the Herb Herauf <strong>Dickinson</strong> High School Female<br />

Athlete of the Year.<br />

7. The following students were the Geography Bee winners in their school:<br />

Lindsay Lange (Heart River), Jordan Friske (Lincoln), Zachary Anderson<br />

(Jefferson), Zach Obrigewitch (Roosevelt) and Keaton O’Hara (Berg). Kristi<br />

Todd-Stillings and Johanna Njos are the Gifted and Talented instructors.<br />

8. The following students qualified to compete in the State Geography Bee:<br />

Lindsay Lange (Heart River), Jordan Friske (Lincoln), Zach Obrigewitch<br />
