1. Dickinson High School Booster Club 4 Star-3 Sport Award winners (athletes
participating in at least three sports all four years of high school) are:
Whitney Wellenstein, Logan Hippe, Mitch Kudrna, Katelyn Steffan and Dusty
Yates.
2. Lynn Messer is the Dickinson High School nominee for the 2007-2008
school year for the North Dakota High School Activities Association
Distinguished Student Award.
3. Nakoa Baker was awarded the Roger Stone Scholarship ($500).
4. Joan Selle was awarded the $1,000 Jack L. Carlson Memorial Scholarship.
5. Mitch Kudrna was named the H.J. “Harry” Weinbergen Dickinson High
School Male Athlete of the Year.
6. Katelyn Steffan was named the Herb Herauf Dickinson High School Female
Athlete of the Year.
7. The following students were the Geography Bee winners in their school:
Lindsay Lange (Heart River), Jordan Friske (Lincoln), Zachary Anderson
(Jefferson), Zach Obrigewitch (Roosevelt) and Keaton O’Hara (Berg). Kristi
Todd-Stillings and Johanna Njos are the Gifted and Talented instructors.
8. The following students qualified to compete in the State Geography Bee:
Lindsay Lange (Heart River), Jordan Friske (Lincoln), Zach Obrigewitch
(Roosevelt) and Keaton O’Hara (Berg). Kristi Todd-Stillings and Johanna
Njos are the Gifted and Talented instructors.
