Head north on M1. At junction 14, exit onto
A509 toward Milton Keynes. At Northfield
Roundabout, take the third exit onto
Portway/A509. At the roundabout, take the
third exit onto the A5 ramp to
Hinckley/Buckingham/Northampton. Merge
onto A5. At the roundabout, take the
second exit onto A422 heading to
Buckingham/Deanshanger. At the

Four Seasons Health Care is one of the largest groups
in the UK predominantly devoted to the care of older
people. Several specialised centres, including some
catering for learning and physical disabilities, also form
part of the group.
The Manager and staff in the individual homes have
the support, advice and guidance from the experienced
Four Seasons team to help them to run their home
efficiently and effectively.
The benefit to a resident and their family is knowing
that the home and the staff are able to offer consistently
high standards, are well trained and have the support

to Hamilton House Care Home
Hamilton House Care Home is a beautifully converted Victorian
home with a tree lined front. The home provides a high standard of
residential and general nursing care. We also provide short term
respite care and palliative care.
Hamilton House Care Home is located in the historic town of
Buckingham close to the centre and within easy reach of shops and
other amenities, public transport and the M1 motorway. Specifically
Stowe Gardens and grounds are only a mile away.
The home is maintained to a high standard and has excellent
facilities including a delightful conservatory and courtyard garden.
Hamilton House Care Home provides a homely, friendly, welcoming
and stimulating environment for residents.

First Class Care
Our person centred approach means
that each resident is an individual treated
with respect and dignity. Each resident
has a named key worker and an
individual care plan. This will cover their
personal and medical history, as well as a
record of particular activities they enjoy
and any cultural or religious aspects of
their care.
Residents, and where appropriate their
families, are involved as far as is practical
in the decisions regarding their care.
Emphasis on all aspects of care is the
Manager’s primary concern and, together
with the experienced team of qualified
staff, all adhere to rigorous standards with
internal audits and checks.

At Hamilton House Care Home we
have an excellent working relationship
with the partners from the local GP
practice. We very much recognise the
importance of personal, individual and
resident focused care. To achieve this,
good communication between all
members of the care team, be they
nurses, carers, relatives or doctors, is
essential.

Facilities
Hamilton House Care Home is near
Buckingham town centre. The courtyard
is a delightful place for residents to enjoy
the fresh air. Views of the garden can
also be enjoyed from the bright and
airy conservatory. The garden is a
sensory garden that is beneficial to
resident’s health. The residents can
also benefit from our snoozelum
(sensory) room.
The home is tastefully decorated and
benefit from bright spacious lounges,
one with a television and one as a quiet
lounge. The home has large bedrooms
some with en-suite facilities, residents
are encouraged to personalise their
rooms to make it feel more like home.
Hamilton House has its own library
facilities giving residents a wide variety
of books to choose from.

We have an inviting dining room
where our chef serves nutritionally
balanced menu’s that are carefully
prepared to ensure the best combination
of nutrition and flavour for our residents.
The residents and families are consulted
on their likes and dislikes and caters for
all dietary requirements. The home
has a five star Environmental Health
rated kitchen.
Hamilton House Care Home has on
site hairdressing facilities that are regularly
attended by an experienced stylist.
Other complementary therapies can
be tailored to individual needs and the
home is attended frequently by a
qualified chiropodist.
We have a personal activities team
who ensures our residents can enjoy
an active social life if they wish and
residents can get involved in hobbies
of their choice and take part in activities
that interest them. The varied and
interesting programme includes
handicrafts, quizzes and gardening.
We have our own minibus which takes
residents out to local events, and
residents regularly go out shopping
and to local restaurants as part of the
activities programme.

Types of Stay
Hamilton House Care Home provides
care for people who need general
nursing care and residential care.
We also cater for short term respite
care and palliative care.
The home has a team of qualified
nurses and well trained dedicated care
assistants that provide an excellent
standard of 24 hour care.
We fully appreciate the stress associated
with leaving home to live in a new
location, and are happy to accept
new residents for an agreed trial period
at the end of which there would be no
further obligation.
