Edenvale Care Centre is a friendly, homely care home providing a high
standard of care for general nursing and nursing with dementia. The
Centre is a two storey purpose built home with excellent facilities.
Edenvale Care Centre is situated in a great locality on the outskirts
of Limavady but still within easy reach of shops, other amenities and
public transport. The town centre is easily accessible by bus or car.
The care centre has recently been completely refurbished and
redecorated throughout to a high standard to create a homely,
welcoming environment.

First Class Care
Our person centred approach means
that each resident is an individual
treated with respect and dignity. Each
resident has a named key worker and
an individual care plan. This will cover
their personal and medical history, as
well as a record of particular activities
they enjoy and any cultural or
religious aspects of their care.
Residents, and where appropriate
their families, are involved as far as
practical in the decisions regarding
their care. Emphasis on all aspects of
care is the Manager’s primary concern
and, together with the experienced
team of qualified staff, all adhere to
rigorous standards with internal audits
and checks.

At Edenvale Care Centre we
have an excellent working
relationship with the partners
from the local GP practice.
We very much recognise
the importance of personal,
individual and resident
focused care. To achieve
this, good communication
between all members of the
care team, be they nurses,
carers, relatives or doctors,
is essential.

Facilities
Edenvale Care Centre has an enclosed
garden including a sensory garden. The
gardens are a relaxing place where
residents can sit out; there are also
seated areas around the home with
patio seating areas.
The home has four homely lounges
on each level with modern flat screen
television, video and DVD player
There are also several quiet lounges
on each of the floors; the first floor is
accessible by lift or passenger stairway.
The accommodation provides residents
with a choice of environments in
which to relax or meet friends and
relatives. Residents are encouraged
to personalise their rooms and can
choose their colour scheme to make
it feel more homely. A number of the
rooms have en-suite facilities.
We have several inviting dining
rooms where our chef provides
nutritionally balanced menu’s that are
carefully prepared to ensure the best
combination of nutrition and flavour
for our residents. The residents and

families are consulted on their
likes and dislikes and caters for all
dietary requirements.
Edenvale Care Centre has on site
hair dressing facilities and is visited
regularly by an experienced stylist.
Other complementary therapies can
be tailored to individual needs and the
home is attended frequently by
a qualified chiropodist.
We encourage residents to follow
hobbies and interest; however there is
no pressure and each person is treated
as an individual. Family and friends are
welcome to visit at any time. We have
a personal activities leader who ensures
our residents can enjoy an active social
life if they wish and residents can get
involved in hobbies of their choice and
take part in activities that interest them.
The varied and interesting programme
includes handicrafts, quizzes and
gardening to trips out to local places
of interest.

Edenvale Care Centre provides care
for people who need general nursing
care and nursing care with dementia.
The home has a team of qualified
nurses and well trained dedicated care
assistants that provide an excellent
standard of 24 hour care.
We fully appreciate the stress associated
with leaving home to live in a new
location, and are happy to accept new
residents for an agreed trial period at
the end of which there would be no
further obligation.

From the West
Take the B68 to Limavady and follow Scroggy Road to
roundabout, turn right into Greystone Road to next
roundabout and then right into Edenmore Road and
we are on the right.
From the South
Take the A37 to Limavady, follow the sign for
Greystone Road on the left and at the roundabout,
turn left into Edenmore Road and we are on the right.
