The home terrain of MTB tyres is utterly unpredictable – quite
as unpredictable, in fact, as the bikers’ individual riding styles.
The very latest CAD is, of course, used to shape tread patterns
like the GravityArc and EndlessEdge, but it is out on open
trails around the world that we get the inspiration for these tyres
and later test them. To make sure no time is lost in implementing
improvements, we maintain the sole MTB tyre production
facility all-over Germany. There we manufacture the prototypes
for our later production stars and for Continental’s – absolutely
exclusive – featherweight Supersonic models.
