The Robins @bcfctweets
So after 26 Games Bristol City are Top of League One with 57 Points, with MK Dons and
Swindon chasing them hard. Steve Cotterill is doing a agnificent job for Bristol City so far
this season and they won the last game 2 - 0 against Fleetwood Town.
MK Dons and current leaders Bristol City will battle for top spot in League One on
Saturday. MK hope Will Grigg and Ben Reeves are back from injury, while Keith Andrews is
on the bench after re-signing. Steve Cotterill's Bristol City are looking for their sixth
consecutive victory in the league.
Ex-Dons striker Aaron Wilbraham (hip) is nearing a return, but faces competition up front
from Matt Smith, Kieran Agard and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas. Dons boss Karl Robinson will
watch from the stands, as he serves the final game of a four-match touchline ban.
But he goes into the fixture as League One's manager of the month for January, after
taking 11 points from 15 last month.
MK Dons boss Karl Robinson told BBC Three Counties Radio: "Bristol City have got a squad
that any manager in this league would take. "They're probably better than when we
played them earlier in the season - but they might argue we are better too. "They are hot
favourites to win the league - we know we're underdogs but we accept that." Bristol City
defender Mark Little told BBC Radio Bristol: "We go out to win so that's what you're
preparing for, not who you're playing against. "They're so close to us and it makes it that
little bit more exciting. "The people who try harder in certain games and not in others
won't make it too far.
"We may look back at the end of the season and think the smaller games were more
important. It may not be the MK Dons ones"
