The College of Earthly and Celestial Studies<br />
This is the place for the acquisition of arcane learning. The College as it is commonly known always<br />
maintains a presence when the factions meet. It provides an opportunity to take a degree in order<br />
to better understand the universe or simply hobnob with magicians, alchemists and scholars. Often<br />
a source of enlightenment in these troubled times. Become a warrior of the spirit!<br />
> In Character Bar The Crimson Moon <<br />
All of our Events this year will be attended by the friendly and excellent in character Bar, The<br />
Crimson Moon. They will as always be serving a wide variety of sensibly priced drinks in a friendly<br />
IC atmosphere, there are just two restrictions in force no fighting on the premises and you are not<br />
allowed to take your own drinks onto the premises either. So for a drink, a song, some gossip and<br />
a warm welcome drop into The Crimson Moon!<br />
First Timers<br />
If this is your first LRP event or even your first experience of role-playing games, please do not<br />
be afraid to ask for advice. On the first day of every event there will be a new player briefing at<br />
the Crimson Moon tavern. It’s fun and friendly so do drop in! Staff and players are usually only<br />
too happy to start you off on your LRP career and will give you the basics to get going. This is<br />
particularly important if you have never experienced the fighting style used at LRP events. You<br />
definitely need to get training in order to fight safely.<br />
A Guide to Monstering<br />
With the nature of our system and style of our battles it has become established that all players<br />
need to monster at one time or another. For some of you we recognise that donation of time has<br />
been great. Whilst trying not to reveal the plots we deliver each year, we would ask that all of you<br />
bring kit in basic colours e.g. black, brown or grey. Any masks that you wish to bring may be useful<br />
but please check with a ref before taking any onto the field and also remember that any personal<br />
property should not be lent out to anybody that you do not know personally. When monstering<br />
we would ask you to follow the simple guidelines below:<br />
