Barnswood Scout Camp<br />
From The South take the M1 to junction. 24. Then take the A50 to Stoke. Then take the A520<br />
to Leek. From Leek take the A523 towards Macclesfield. When the road bends sharply to the left<br />
the right turn is in reality straight in front of you, signed for Heaton. Follow this road for one mile<br />
and ignore a right turn for Meerbrook. The scout camp is signed and you will travel across a rough<br />
field to get to the main gate.<br />
From the North either junction 18 or 17 on the M6 to Congleton. Then the A54 to Buxton. As<br />
it crosses the A523 turn right (South) towards Leek. Follow the A523 until the road bends then<br />
take the Left turn onto the Heaton road and follow directions as above. The nearest train station<br />
is Macclesfield.<br />
