Paccar Scout Camp
M25 Clockwise
Leave M25 at Junction 16 onto M40
eastbound towards London, then
leave M40 at next junction (Junction
1). Turn left at bottom of slip road,
then keep left onto the A40 and
follow signs to Gerrards Cross. Go
straight across at next traffic lights and
continue on A40 and half way up the
hill get into the outside lane. At the
top of the hill take the right turn lane
and at the traffic lights turn onto the
A413 signposted Amersham and The
Chalfonts. Continue along the A413
dual carriage way, and then straight
across at the first roundabout. At the
next roundabout turn right (3rd exit)
up Joiners Lane. At the T junction
turn right. The entrance to Paccar Scout
Camp - Chalfont Heights is about 1/
4 mile (400 metres) on the right (just
past Winkers Farm Country Club)
M25 Anti-clockwise
(Not suitable for vehicles larger than
a minibus) Leave M25 at Junction 17
(Maple Cross). At bottom of slip road
turn left on to a short section of dual
carriageway. At the roundabout turn
right (2nd exit) onto the A412. At the
next traffic lights turn right please note
that coaches and large vehicles must
only use the a413 route. After about
200 yards (180 metres) turn left. The
road narrows after the houses, follow this road round and as you pass the Pub on your right the
road turns very sharply to the left. At the T junction turn left onto Denham Lane. Continue along
this road for about a 1.5 miles (2.5 kilometres). The entrance to Paccar Scout Camp - Chalfont
Heights is on the right (just past Winkers Farm Country Club) Postcode: SL9 0QH.
Note this is the one to use for Sat Nav systems. Also be warned that, if you follow the directions given by
your satnav from the A40/M40 junction, it will probably send you up a narrow lane passable only by
small vehicles. You are advised not to turn right onto the A412 as requested by your satnav but continue
on the A40 to the A413 turning. On leaving the site it will tell you to turn right and again we advise
that you should turn left and take the 2nd left turning, Joiners Lane, by which time it will have recalculated
your route.
