2011 Annual Catholic Appeal
Divine Savior Target: $26,021.40
Amount Pledged: $27,975.00
Amount Paid Through 4/20/2011 $14,726.00
Balance $13,249.00
Many thanks for your faithful response to this yearly fund drive that does so much good for the Church of
Chicago and our sisters and brothers throughout our Archdiocese. A personal note of thanks and humble
appreciation for responding to my personal appeal to meet our parish goal set by the diocese. For the first
time ever we did it! It made me proud and honored to be your pastor, for a parish of people that care for the
needs of the Church beyond oneself, especially those who struggle. Many, many thanks for your goodness
and support.
Now this means that anything pledged and collected over our goal is returned to us. If all who pledged honor
their commitments that means already we keep almost $2,000 and there is still time to pledge and the
diocese will still accept additional gifts to the Appeal. So there is always the chance that additional monies
will be returned to us. Now we must make sure to honor those pledges and redeem them with payments to
meet our goal. We’re grateful for all the ways you are faithful stewards in so many ways.
With Thanks and Appreciation…..
