Treasurer<br />
• Alan not present – no report<br />
Canteen<br />
• Canteen is going really well, no problems.<br />
Uniform<br />
• Paula to submit a section for the newsletter outlining the new Tax Benefit for claiming school<br />
approved uniforms. Start placing uniform orders for summer.<br />
• Sales : $834.00 Monies Received : $834.00 Stock on hand $16,501.50.<br />
Grounds<br />
• Nil to report for the Grounds Committee.<br />
Fundraising<br />
• Proposed a 50 th meeting to be on the same night of the P&C meeting. 50 th meeting to run from 7-<br />
8pm and the P&C meeting follow after. Celebration runs for one week in <strong>July</strong> next year.<br />
• Paula W to submit a plan for a combined school mural. How it will be achieved and painted and<br />
will submit to the P&C next month.<br />
• The Fundraising committee will now focus on just the markets and will postpone the move-a thon<br />
until next year. Moved the dates to Sunday the 23 rd October for the market day.<br />
Principal<br />
• New <strong>School</strong> Website Update - P&C page now included.<br />
• <strong>School</strong>’s 50 th Year in 2012 - 50 th Year Committee – P&C reps to be nominated at the August<br />
<strong>Meeting</strong>.<br />
• Total bill for air conditioners $10,572.73 plus GST. Moved to pay Bill Kershaw with a donation<br />
from the P & C for payment of this. Check with Alan for a $5000 initial donation from the P&C.<br />
• Thank you to the P&C for the shorts & socks for school representatives, we looked great at the<br />
Winmalee Cup/Plate and to the parents who coached and supported the students at the<br />
Winmalee Cup/Plate <strong>2011</strong>.<br />
• WSR PSSA Cross Country Carnival <strong>2011</strong> - Congratulations to Rueben Ford Yr. 3 who<br />
competed at WSR Cross Country Carnival and finished in the top half from over 80 District<br />
PSSA reps.<br />
• Greg Alexander Shield <strong>2011</strong> - Congratulations to the Greg Alexander Shield Rugby League<br />
team who competed at the Penrith Area Finals last term and were Runners Up in the small<br />
schools division.
• Winmalee Cup/Plate <strong>2011</strong> - Congratulations to the Senior Netball and Senior & Junior<br />
Newcombe teams who were all Runners Up in the Winmalee Plate - the smaller schools<br />
division.<br />
President<br />
• Nil to report<br />
Business Arising<br />
• Marianne dropped off the banner for the Market Day, need to give to Lara or Traci.<br />
General Business<br />
• Received a Thank You card from Jai F’s family for the donation to support his Sydney West<br />
Rugby Competition.<br />
• Looking at possible money left over for the purchase of new seats for the playground, as per<br />
Bronwyn D request in February.
