Voluntary School Contributions for 2012
The school contribution can still be paid on our last
money day for 2012, Wednesday 19/12/12. School
Contributions can also be paid by Credit Card.
Donations amounts for 2012, set by the P&C are:
1 child - $30.00; 2 children - $40.00; 3 or more children - $50.00.
If you feel you would like to pay more, it would be very much appreciated - if you would contribute to the ‘School
Computer Renewal Program’ that has been set up, again with P&C support. This will help us to keep our technology
as current as possible for student learning. The P&C have made this their major fundraising focus for 2012.
School Holiday Kids Astronomy
Programs
January 2013
Kids Fun Day - Wednesday 23 January (10 am – 12
noon)
Don’t know what to do with the kids? Come along and
watch a 3D astronomy movie, water rockets being
launched or safely do some sunspotting through the
University’s computerised telescopes.
Family Astronomy Night - Saturday 26
January (8pm – 10 pm)
Navigating to Australia - Why and how did
Europeans get to Australia? It’s all to do with
Astronomy. The Sun, planets, and stars were a vital
country – in particular, the twice-in-a-lifetime
phenomenon of the Transit of Venus. The night will
also include a 3D astronomy movie and viewing of the
night sky through the University’s 0.6 metre and 0.25
telescopes. Our program will run regardless of the
weather.
Cost: $15 adult, $10
child/concession and $40 family.
