<strong>Schneider</strong> <strong>Electric</strong> Inverter system operations training is a two and a half day<br />

course. This training course is for qualified technicians, and service oriented<br />

personnel looking to gain knowledge and hands on experience in operation<br />

and basic troubleshooting of <strong>Schneider</strong>’s threephase inverter systems.<br />

Classes are small, so register early!<br />

Course description<br />

<strong>Xantrex</strong> GT500 MVX (GT500 E training available on a per request basis)<br />

This course is intended for current or prospective <strong>Schneider</strong> <strong>Electric</strong> <strong>Xantrex</strong> three phase system<br />

owners or those responsible for servicing the systems.<br />

Pre-requisite: Osha 1910 & NFPA 70E High voltage training completion.<br />

Some prior knowledge of basic electrical circuits and concepts such as Ohms Law.<br />

Course content:<br />

The focus of this training is on the <strong>Schneider</strong> <strong>Electric</strong> <strong>Xantrex</strong> three phase, grid-tied series product line. The format<br />

of the training is a small workgroup with a focus on hands-on training with open dialogue. The course covers a brief<br />

overview of conventional and renewable energy sources, an introduction to grid-tie energy transfer, an overview of<br />

<strong>Schneider</strong> <strong>Electric</strong> grid-tie products, and detailed discussion of the <strong>Xantrex</strong> GT Three Phase Series features, functions<br />

and benefits. Upon completion of the course, participants will have working knowledge of System Start-up, Operation<br />

and proper Shutdown procedures. We will cover the communication protocols and application used for retrieving<br />

system logs. Best maintenance practices will be covered as well as trouble code analysis.<br />
