DANGER or WARNING: Risk of child entrapment.<br />
Child entrapment and suffocation are not problems of the past. Junked or abandoned<br />
appliances are still dangerous . . . even if they will “just sit <strong>in</strong> the garage a few days”.<br />
Before you throw away your old Refrigerator: Take off the door. Leave the<br />
shelves <strong>in</strong> place so that children may not easily climb <strong>in</strong>side.<br />
Never allow children to operate, play with, or crawl <strong>in</strong>side the appliance.<br />
Never clean appliance parts with flammable fluids. The fumes can create a fire<br />
hazard or explosion.<br />
Do not store or use gasol<strong>in</strong>e or any other flammable vapors and liquids <strong>in</strong> the vic<strong>in</strong>ity<br />
of this or any other appliance. The fumes can create a fire hazard or explosion.<br />

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS<br />
‣ BEFORE USING YOUR REFRIGERATOR<br />
Remove the exterior and <strong>in</strong>terior pack<strong>in</strong>g.<br />
Check to be sure you have all of the follow<strong>in</strong>g parts:<br />
1 Bottom Shelf<br />
3 Flat Shelves<br />
4 Casters<br />
1 wrench for casters <strong>in</strong>stallation<br />
1 Hex key for reversible door operation (model OBC32SS only).<br />
1 Instruction Manual<br />
Before connect<strong>in</strong>g the Refrigerator to the power source, let it stand upright for approximately<br />
24 hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction <strong>in</strong> the cool<strong>in</strong>g system from handl<strong>in</strong>g<br />
dur<strong>in</strong>g transportation.<br />
Clean the <strong>in</strong>terior surface with lukewarm water us<strong>in</strong>g a soft cloth.<br />
‣ INSTALLATION OF YOUR REFRIGERATOR<br />
This appliance is designed to be for free stand<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>stallation or <strong>built</strong>-<strong>in</strong> (M<strong>in</strong>imum clearances:<br />
¼” on each side, ½” at the back, and 1” on the top).<br />
Place your Refrigerator on a floor that is strong enough to support it when it is fully loaded. To<br />
level your Refrigerator, adjust the front level<strong>in</strong>g legs at the bottom of the Refrigerator.<br />
Locate the Refrigerator away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove, heater, radiator,<br />
etc.). Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coat<strong>in</strong>g and heat sources may <strong>in</strong>crease electrical<br />
consumption. Extreme cold ambient temperatures may also cause the unit not to perform<br />
properly.<br />
Avoid locat<strong>in</strong>g the unit <strong>in</strong> moist areas.<br />
Plug the Refrigerator <strong>in</strong>to an exclusive, properly <strong>in</strong>stalled-grounded wall outlet. Do not under<br />
any circumstances cut or remove the third (ground) prong from the power cord. Any questions<br />
concern<strong>in</strong>g power and/or ground<strong>in</strong>g should be directed toward a certified electrician or an<br />
authorized <strong>Avanti</strong> <strong>Products</strong> service center.<br />
