Both teams’ cars have now been through the paint shop ready for GPR to begin fitting<br />
components to them. Speedworks’ car will be driven by Ginetta G50 graduate Tony<br />
Hughes and Dynojet’s by G50 champion Frank Wrathall.<br />
In addition, even though they are not entering a factory team, Toyota GB has announced<br />
it is funding an NGTC engine programme for customer teams fielding its Avensis model<br />
in the BTCC.<br />
Lam Seng Hang, distributor for Westlake Tires, treated their premium dealers to an<br />
incentive trip to China. The expense paid five day trip included a visit to the Westlake<br />
Tires factory in Hangzhou.<br />

<strong>2011</strong>’s Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship race events timetables are now available<br />
on their website, which allows fans ample time to plan their travel arrangements.<br />
This year’s championship will feature nine different venues in eight different counties<br />
spanning the length and breadth of the UK and will come to a head on Silverstone’s short,<br />
high-speed, thrill-a-minute National circuit in mid-October.<br />
Here’s a brief glance at each race day (Sunday), some of which begin with the ever-popular<br />
Pit Lane Walkabout.<br />

NEW SUBARU<br />
LIVERY REVEALED<br />
Former APRC driver Hayden Paddon has released an artist’s impression of the new<br />
livery for the Subaru he will be driving in the <strong>2011</strong> P-WRC.<br />
Designed by Kieran at Granger Design the car now incorporates the Kiwi image with<br />
the black and the silver fern, while the green carries on from previous years. The roof<br />
will also include a large Silver Fern.<br />

FEMALE KART RACER<br />
In 2010, Beitske became the first<br />
female driver to ever win a European<br />
Championship round in a gearbox<br />
class when she beat 52 other racers to win Race 1 at the second round of the CIK-FIA European<br />
KZ2 Championship series in Varennes, France. A significant achievement for such a young<br />
aspiring driver, having come out fourth overall from a field of 82 racers, at the end of the<br />
four-race Championship.<br />
CANCELLATION OF AFOS<br />

CKMP, the Asian Festival Of Speed<br />
(AFOS) Promoter in Korea has notified<br />
that they are unable to proceed<br />
with the AFOS event scheduled for<br />
8th May <strong>2011</strong>, due to problems with<br />
the circuit owner KAVO.<br />
For GT Asia Series they have established a cooperation<br />
with Sepang Circuit to support the<br />
F1 event in Malaysia as a non-championship<br />
round. JK Racing Asia Series will now attend<br />
the Guangdong Circuit, China on August 14th<br />
and the Asian Touring Car Series will now start<br />
1 month later on 24th April in conjunction<br />
with HTCC also in Guangdong.
