8 men take a step closer to
Ordination
On Wednesday, August 7, 2013 eight
men for the Archdiocese of Detroit will
be received as candidates for the
Sacrament of Holy Orders during the
Rite of Candidacy presided over by
His Excellency, Archbishop Allen H.
Vigneron. Congratulations to the following
men who will begin their studies
as First Year Theologians for the
Archdiocese of Detroit: John Bettin,
Andrew Dawson, Grayson Heenan,
Matthew Hood, Mark Livingston,
Craig Marion, Christopher Muer, and
Mark Tibai. Please pray for them and
for all the men studying for the priesthood

Watch the Tridentine Mass
on CTND
The Catholic Television Network of
Detroit (CTND) has added the
Tridentine Mass (the Latin Mass)as
a regular part of its Sunday
programming. Celebrated in
Sarasota, Fla., in the Diocese of
Venice, the Tridentine Mass airs
each Sunday at 3:30 p.m. This
traditional Latin-language liturgy
joins the English-language Masses
broadcast on CTND each Sunday at
10 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

the addition of a
Tridentine Mass to the broadcast
