8 men take a step closer to<br />

Ordination<br />

On Wednesday, August 7, 2013 eight<br />

men for the Archdiocese of Detroit will<br />

be received as candidates for the<br />

Sacrament of Holy Orders during the<br />

Rite of Candidacy presided over by<br />

His Excellency, Archbishop Allen H.<br />

Vigneron. Congratulations to the following<br />

men who will begin their studies<br />

as First Year Theologians for the<br />

Archdiocese of Detroit: John Bettin,<br />

Andrew Dawson, Grayson Heenan,<br />

Matthew Hood, Mark Livingston,<br />

Craig Marion, Christopher Muer, and<br />

Mark Tibai. Please pray for them and<br />

for all the men studying for the priesthood<br />

Watch the Tridentine Mass<br />

on CTND<br />

The <strong>Catholic</strong> Television Network of<br />

Detroit (CTND) has added the<br />

Tridentine Mass (the Latin Mass)as<br />

a regular part of its Sunday<br />

programming. Celebrated in<br />

Sarasota, Fla., in the Diocese of<br />

Venice, the Tridentine Mass airs<br />

each Sunday at 3:30 p.m. This<br />

traditional Latin-language liturgy<br />

joins the English-language Masses<br />

broadcast on CTND each Sunday at<br />

10 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.<br />

CTND thanks everyone who shared<br />

their thoughts and feedback about<br />

the addition of a<br />

Tridentine Mass to the broadcast<br />

schedule. Your feedback has been<br />

greatly valued as we continue to<br />
