Appeal are supporting two events for the
young adult ministry this month.
“Catching Fresh Fish” is for parish
leaders interested in forming and building
young adult ministry in their parish. The
three-hour session, on Tuesday, August
13, beginning at 6:30 PM at St. Edith in
Livonia, will relay the key aspects of
reaching out to young adults.
Friday night, August 16, the 6 th annual
Young Adult BBQ and Sports Night will be
held at BASF Park in Wyandotte. This
evening for young adults in the
Archdiocese of fellowship will also include
karaoke.
Young adult ministry in the Archdiocese
of Detroit is coordinated through the
Department of Evangelization,
Catechesis, and Schools, along with youth
and campus ministries.

holding a Flag Retirement next
Saturday, August 10 th , after the
4:30 pm Mass at
St.Clare Church on 10 Mile.

This year’s Installation of Officers
will be next Sunday, August 11 th
at Our Lady of Sorrows; 1:00 pm
Mass, 2:30 pm Installation, followed
by dinner. All officers
are required to attend.
