Extraordinary theatre, music, dance, live art,<br />
exhibitions, talks, parties and public artworks take<br />
over Bristol from 12–22 <strong>February</strong> <strong>2015</strong>. Starting with<br />
Fog Bridge. Take a walk in the clouds. For 10 days<br />
from Fri 13 to Sun 23 Feb, Peros’ Bridge in Bristol<br />
Harbourside will disappear behind a changing veil<br />
of fog, in celebration of Bristol<br />

Inspired by Edward Snowden’s revelations and the ensuing<br />
debate on state surveillance, Theatre Ad Infinitum (Ballad of<br />
the Burning Star) conjures an Orwellian future where a<br />
totalitarian regime monitors the thoughts of its citizens<br />
through implants.Charged with hunting down ‘terrorists’<br />
who seek illegal disconnection, a young government agent<br />
encounters an enigmatic figurefrom his shadowy past.<br />
Blending anime-style storytelling and a pulsating<br />
soundscape to draw audiences into its sci-fi realm, this is a<br />
nightmarish tale of love, betrayal and technological power.<br />
LED, strip and torchlight innovatively illuminate the<br />
wordless production set atmospherically in darkness. Light<br />
is accessible to Deaf and Hearing audiences<br />

The evening will commence in our quirky lower deck cocktail bar with Swing Dancing Lessons, a<br />
perfect opportunity to impress potential suitors. Bristol’s premier faux French gypsy band, Fromage<br />
en Feu will then hit the stage with a fiery blend of up-tempo swing, klezmer and tango to really get<br />
the night in full swing mode!<br />
If that wasn’t enough, ElectroSwing DJs will then play into the night. In light of the Vintage theme<br />
there will also be the opportunity for you to dress to impress. Glamour is key to perfecting this<br />
vintage look.<br />
