Good answer. The second cyst is Entamoeba coli (Mature Entamoeba coli cysts typically have
8 nuclei, and measure usually 15 to 25 µm (range 10 to 35 µm). E. coli is the only
species of Entamoeba with more than four nuclei in the cyst stage. Chromatoid bodies

Mature Entamoeba histolytica/Entamoeba dispar cysts have 4 nuclei that characteristically
have centrally located karyosomes and fine, uniformly distributed peripheral
chromatin. Cysts usually measure 12 to 15 µm. E. dispar is non-invasive, but
morphologically identical to E. histolytica which is associated with invasive disease of
which colitis and amoebic liver abscess are the commonest manifestations.
