1 Do risk assessment, apply either MD or LVD, if the risk is<br />

predominantly electrical then use LVD<br />

2 If applying MD, then use EN 60204 standard<br />

LVD&EMC procedures available as alternatives to the<br />

R&TTE Directive procedure for EMC and safety. Note:<br />

1 The R&TTE has no voltage limits for compliance safety<br />

2 The LVD procedure may only be used for equipment that<br />

falls within the scope of the LVD
