to increase as long as the lack of progress in demarcation of the border remains, and as long as the country does not have adequate internal capacities to respond to the issues of food and water security. The UN ef<strong>for</strong>ts in support of development will continue. However, there is a need <strong>for</strong> the international community and other development partners to ensure that the aspirations of Eritrea <strong>for</strong> peace and a life free of poverty will be realized.
