General Chairs and current parents, Andy and Amy
Gaughan McAuliffe ’86, and the parent committees
prepared for months for FIESTA 2012, ensuring it was a
memorable experience for all guests.
The parent raffle winners were: first place, Chris and
Teresa Casey, parents of Ashley Casey ’14 (one year
tuition); second place, Scott and Jenni Herchenbach,
parents of Meagan Dabbs ’12 and Erin Dabbs ’14 (2012-
2013 fees); and third place Cathy Justice, parent of Emma
Justice ’15 ($250 book voucher). The lucky winners of
the $10,000 grand prize raffle were The Temme Family
(John, Jonathan, Justin and Joe), Kevin and Lana Molczyk,
parents of Allison Molczyk ’13, and Phil VanDecar.
On February 11, over 470 friends of Mercy High School
enjoyed an evening of entertainment and excitement
at Mercy’s FIESTA 2012 – Celebrating Mercy’s Heritage in
support of Mercy’s unique negotiated tuition. FIESTA
is an acronym for
Friends in Earnest
Supporting Tuition
Assistance.

silent auction items.
Before dinner the Mercy High School singers performed
“The Suscipe,” “The Irish Blessing,” and “O’Danny Boy.”

For the ninth year,
John Glenn, father
of Amanda Glenn
’07, served as emcee
for the evening with
live auctioneer, John
Temme. The 32 live
auction items lead
to spirited bidding
among the guests
which included golf,
trips, special dinners,
and artwork. FIESTA 2012 grossed over $285,000.
