As a child, he watched the show and had a life-long
dream to be a contestant on Jeopardy! After six
auditions to be on the show, his dream became a reality.

“Honestly, I thought the students would get bored
after the first episode. I’ve never seen people watch
‘Jeopardy!’ like they’re watching a football game. It is
so cool to see all the girls get excited about learning
something new.”

The faculty and staff at Mercy High School are truly
dedicated and very passionate to ensure a premier Catholic
education rooted in faith, knowledge, and service for
all Mercy students. Over 65% of the faculty have their
master’s degrees. The average tenure of teachers at Mercy
is 14 years. The helpfulness of the faculty extends beyond
the classroom, as they can be seen before and after school
tutoring students, coaching a sport, directing a play, or
sponsoring a student organization.
