Answer the Call to Benefit the Young Women of Mercy
There is a need. There is an urgency. Answer the call and
make a lifetime difference for the young women of Mercy
High School. Pledge your support to Mercy High School’s
Phonathon 2012.
• Currently, there are 385 students who are engaged
in the diverse college-prep curriculum and liberal
arts education, including:
Advance Placement (AP) courses offered
in calculus, chemistry, US history, English
literature, European history, and Spanish.
Dual enrollment with area colleges for 11
course offerings.
Courses offered in fine arts include
speech, art, dance, vocal music, drama, and
instrumental music.
Fine arts program performs in competitions
on local, state, regional, and national levels.
• The student/teacher ratio is 12 to 1 with an
average class size of 18-20.
• A large freshman class will put us near capacity for
the 2012-2013 academic year.
• Mercy’s negotiated tuition provides grants, awards,
and scholarships of more than $1.5 million
annually to more than 86% of our families in need
of financial assistance.
• Today, the full cost of educating a young woman
at Mercy High School is $9,500. Currently, tuition
is $8,500.
Mercy relies on your generosity to bridge the difference
between expense and tuition through annual investments.
Your gift will directly impact our technology, academic
programs, faculty salaries, and negotiated tuition for
students in need.
Mid March, during our annual Phonathon, you will be
invited to pledge your support to Mercy’s annual fund.

• If you haven’t given a gift previously, begin today
with a one-time or monthly gift of $20.12.
• Increase your annual pledge amount by $50, $100,
or more.
• Make a monthly gift as a part of your annual
pledge, some options follow:

annually and can be charged to to Master Card or Visa.
If your company, or your spouse’s, matches gifts, please
include the appropriate form with your donation, or apply
online if your company supports this method.
Gifts of any amount are deeply appreciated. We are
grateful for your continued dedication to Mercy, and thank
you for your gift on behalf of our future graduates.
