Susan Koret arrives for

be meeting and another

Jewish Home resident and
longtime member of the
Koret Foundation’s board,
whom she will visit. “He’s
an old friend,” she says,
“and he worked with my
husband longer than
anyone else.”
The widow of Joseph Koret and
the board chair for life of the
Koret Foundation, Susan is visiting
the place that was one of her
husband’s favorite organizations.
“Supporting the Jewish Home
is exactly what he would want,”
she says. “It’s in keeping with
his values.”
Through the years, the Koret
Foundation has been extremely
generous to the Home. When the
Koret Foundation was established
in 1979, the Jewish Home was the
recipient of one of the Foundation’s
first grants. “It’s been a love affair
ever since,” says Susan. “The
Foundation is proud to be a part of
