<strong>EECS</strong> alumnus <strong>and</strong> <strong>Engineering</strong> Director for Google Earth Brian McClendon (EE ’86) was the<br />

keynote speaker for Expo. He demonstrated what Google Earth allowed users to do, such as viewing<br />

a 3-D model of the Eiffel Tower or watching real-time data on the arrivals <strong>and</strong> departures from the<br />

Amsterdam airport. <br />
