higher education worldwide, ensures that the most recent information
about your partner institutions and contacts is available directly
in moveon.
Co-operations
All types of international co-operations with partner institutions
ranging from e.g. student mobility to research programmes and including
details about the content, funding and related fields of study
for each co-operation can be entered and managed in moveon.
An extensive description of the type of activities involved (e.g. research
project, intensive course, curriculum development) along with
organisational details such as the related departments and contacts,
help provide a detailed overview of all the institution’s existing and
planned co-operations.
Exchange Agreements
With moveon you can manage all exchange agreements with your
partner institutions for both students and staff mobility. Alongside
the current agreements, you also find a history of previous exchange
agreements and details of future planned agreements. For each
exchange you can enter the agreed number of places and duration
period along with the institutional and departmental coordinators at
home and abroad.
Bilateral Agreements (e.g. within the Lifelong Learning Programme)
can be created automatically in moveon, containing information
about the fields of study concerned, the planned student or staff
flows and all relevant coordinators’ details. In order to simplify the
process of updating exchange agreements, moveon provides lists of
all expired agreements and statistics with comparisons between the
agreements and the actual flows.

Mobility Management
Student Mobility
moveon has been developed to cater for all kinds of student mobility
studies and student mobility placements. moveon is adapted to suit
the needs of the new European Lifelong Learning Programme along
with all other types of mobility programmes (e.g. overseas).
General information such as personal and contact details, mobility
data, courses of study, grants, accommodation and application
data can be entered for each student and useful overview lists can
be created. Information relating to student mobility placements
such as company and contact details can be managed just as easily
in moveon.
Staff Mobility
In moveon you can easily manage all kinds of staff mobility such
as teaching, research, further education or job-shadowing.
moveon is adapted to suit the needs of the new European Lifelong
Learning Programme along with all other types of mobility
programmes (e.g. overseas).
General information similar to that managed for student mobility can
be entered for each staff member and useful statistics and reports
can be created. At a glance moveon provides you with a comprehensive
overview of all your staff mobility activities with partner institutions
and companies.
Finances
All types of funds including grants for students and staff and also
general funds for your International Office can be managed directly
in moveon. A complete overview of all your finances is available and
with the help of numerous reports you can securely manage and
control all your financial activities.
moveon also provides advanced features for the calculation and allocation
of grant payments. This process no longer involves paper and
pen; instead these calculations can be carried out quickly and easily
in moveon. By defining statuses for the different groups of grant
holders, various aspects such as the cost of living in the exchange
country can be taken into consideration during the calculation or
redistribution of grants.

Controlling
Statistics
moveon offers highly efficient statistical and analytical tools which
help follow the development of your international activities and guide
the institution’s international strategy.
Statistics about student and staff mobility flows which can be
created according to a faculty, field of study, geographic region or
exchange programme, can be particularly useful in supporting and
controlling international activities. Statistics containing comparisons
between exchange agreements and actual flows help control mobility
activities and assist in regularly adapting exchange agreements.
The design of the statistic reports can be individually customised
with your institution’s logo and all reports can be printed directly
from moveon or saved as PDF documents.
Customised Reports
All the data available in moveon can be displayed in individually
customised reports and lists. At any time you can quickly generate
reports containing details of students, staff, contacts, exchange
agreements, partner institutions, etc. With the help of advanced
selection forms the content of these reports can be individually
configured to suit your needs.
The information contained in the reports can be sorted according to
diverse criteria ensuring the reports remain clear and concise. New
templates can easily be created and saved in moveon and all existing
report templates can be edited at any time.
The layout of the reports along with the titles and logos can all be
adapted to suit your institution’s individual requirements.
Financial Reports
The data required to generate all kinds of financial reports is already
saved in moveon allowing these reports to be created in a matter of
minutes.
When creating Erasmus intermediate or final reports, a check report
in moveon ensures that all the data required is correct and complete.
Missing or incorrect data will be highlighted and can be easily
adjusted in moveon before creating the report.

Support functions
Document templates and mail merge
moveon provides tools which enable all types of correspondence
with your students, staff and contacts in your faculty or at partner
institutions.
moveon supports the creation and management of document
templates (e.g. letters of acceptance, confirmation, contracts, etc.)
through the integration of the MS Word mail merge function. Mail
merge documents can be opened directly from moveon and printed
and sent to one or more recipients. moveon also offers an interface
with all standard e-mail programmes.
moveonnet and the e procedures
moveonnet is the online guide to higher education worldwide providing
a comprehensive directory of Institutions of Higher Education
and supporting communication between International Relations
Offices worldwide.
The electronic procedures (e procedures) available in moveonnet
simplify the exchange of information between International Offices
at partner institutions. Institutions can now nominate their exchange
students (e nomination), create and edit all exchange agreements
(e agreements) and exchange curriculum data of exchange students
with partner institutions (e transcripts). All these procedures are
carried out online through the moveonnet web portal and are completely
integrated in moveon.
Standard import and export interfaces
moveon offers standard interfaces with numerous other student and
finance management systems.
Interfaces with e.g. the student management systems HIS and
Apogee which are used by most German and French Institutions of
Higher Education respectively are already available in moveon. With
thanks to these standard interfaces it is already possible for German
and French institutions to exchange student data between moveon
and these systems.
The interfaces with finance management systems (e.g. SAP) allow
moveon users to export grant data from moveon directly to these
systems where the payments can be proceeded.
