As employers consider the array of strategies and tactics used to control healthcare costs,<br />

private exchanges are emerging as a focal point. The role of private exchange offerings in<br />

workforce health and productivity management has not been explicitly determined, and is a<br />

subject of some debate. This session will share expert perspectives regarding the role that<br />

private exchanges may play in supporting workforce health management efforts. Each of the<br />

panelists has a unique perspective, and together will provide an insightful look at the role of<br />

private exchanges. By directly addressing the critical employer decision-making process, this<br />

presentation will summarize available research and describe how workforce health, wellbeing,<br />

and performance can be further enhanced in the setting of private exchanges.<br />

in a different way. This session brings together experts to discuss trends in innovation and<br />
