Meter Devices Test Switches
Back-Connected Switches
Any Meter Devices test switch can
be supplied in a back-connected
version whereby the switch is
mounted on one side of a panel
and the wiring connections are
made on the opposite side. Backconnected
switches are designated
by the catalog number prefix and
the suffix "B", i.e., #130-54580B.
Back-connected switches are
furnished as standard with
insulated bushings for steel panel
mounting. Switches may also be
supplied without bushings for
panels that are insulated. Please
specify without bushings when
required.
Flush-Mounted Switches
Meter Devices Switches can be
supplied mounted in our Flush
Mounting Cases with cover. These
cases are especially suitable for
steel panel mounting so as to
conform to other flush mounted instruments
such as meter relays, etc.
The assembly consists of an
insulated case and a semi-flush
sealable cover of cast metal and
Lexan ® insert. Covers are finished
in dull-lustre black to match the
switch board panel.
SIMPLE INSTALLATION
For installing Flush Mounting
Cases and Covers, all one needs to
do is cut a hole in the panel
[dimensions as shown here]. Insert
the case from the front of panel
and attach with four screws. The
cover fits over the opening and is
then secured by means of two
sealable cover studs.
