The Roto-Test Switch is the result
of years of experience and
research in the manufacture of
testing devices for instruments,
relays and meters, and it achieves
a mechanical and electrical
perfection never before attained in
a device for this purpose.
It combines safety and efficiency,
saves time and space and
embodies all the desired features
for safe, speedy and dependable
relay and meter testing.
With the Roto-Test Switch, relays
and meters may be tested at the
turn of a key without
disconnecting for service. Overcurrent
relays may be tested in any
one phase without disturbing the
others, thereby providing partial
protection during the testing
period. The switch can be used for
transfer of relays and meter
circuits for quick testing without
removing any wiring.

These switches are available in
four, six, ten, twelve, fourteen,
sixteen, eighteen and twenty pole
combinations. Switches mount on
the rear of the switchboard and the
face plate appears on the front of
the board. This highly efficient and
effective installation, not only
conserves space on the
switchboard and matches other
instruments and installations.

applied to any type of switchboard
and used with all standard makes
of instruments, relays and meters.
ABSOLUTELY SAFE
The Roto-Test switch is the safest
device of its kind on the market.
Its mechanical construction is such
that it is practically impossible for
any parts to loosen up in operation
and cause trouble. Perfect contact
is maintained between blades
and clips.
No live parts are exposed–only the
face plate appears on the front of
the board.
Heavy Textolite (Bakelite) case and
Rotor provide positive insulation.
Test of relays and meters is made
from front of board on test studs
without any connection or
disconnection and without
interruption of service.
It is impossible to trip the circuit
breakers when testing. However,
any relay may be cut out by the
operator should emergency
demand it.
