<strong>Mitsubishi</strong> <strong>Heavy</strong> <strong>Industries</strong> has made a giant leap forward in air<br />
conditioning and heat pump technology, with the development of high<br />
performance FD Series split systems for commercial application: offices,<br />
shops, meeting rooms, restaurants, hotels, clubs, gyms, and open plan areas.<br />
The Advanced FDTA Cassette range has now been extended to include new small<br />
capacity INVERTER systems starting at 1.8kW/2.0kW, and an extra high capacity<br />
system 14.3kW/16.2kW at the top end. (figures stated are for cooling/heating<br />
performance.<br />
7-Day Programmable Timer - now included in standard controls specification.<br />
The CoP (Coefficient of Performance) has been dramatically increased,<br />
up to 3.76 on some models. This means the system can deliver 3.76kW of<br />
heating, whilst consuming only 1.0kW of electrical power. This has been<br />
achieved by combining advanced <strong>Mitsubishi</strong> technology with R410A.

Superior Controls Specification<br />
There has never been a multi function controller<br />
with the advanced sophistication of the new<br />
<strong>Mitsubishi</strong> RCE1. It combines all the basic user<br />
requirements – temperature setting, fan speed<br />
selection, mode, and timer settings, with a<br />
comprehensive range of service data functions,<br />
inverter compressor speed indication, fault<br />
diagnosis, and operational history.<br />
New Cassette Design: The improved air flow<br />
pattern through the unit, and the new design of<br />
high performance heat exchanger, have resulted<br />
in a pressure loss reduction, allowing the fan<br />
design to be optimised for significantly lower<br />
sound levels. The air discharge louver has been<br />
modified to minimise air smudging on the ceiling<br />
adjacent to the air outlets.<br />
Cassette units can be installed as single systems,<br />
or as multi systems, i.e. twin/triple/quad indoor<br />
units connected to one outdoor unit - ideal for<br />
large open plan areas, or irregular shaped rooms.<br />
