<strong>Mitsubishi</strong> <strong>Heavy</strong> <strong>Industries</strong> has made a giant leap forward in air conditioning<br />

and heat pump technology, with the development of high performance FD<br />

Multi Systems. These systems allow twin/triple/quad indoor units to be<br />

installed and connected to one outdoor unit. This provides a saving compared to the<br />

installation cost of several standard split systems.<br />

The new FDA Multi Systems are ideal for open plan areas. It is not advisable to install<br />

the connected indoor units in different rooms. Systems are supplied with the relevant<br />

branch pipe kits, and one controller per system.<br />

7-Day Programmable Timer - now included in standard controls specification.<br />

The CoP (Coefficient of Performance) has been dramatically increased, up to<br />

3.67 on some models. This means the system can deliver 3.67kW of heating, whilst<br />

consuming only 1.0kW of electrical power. This has been achieved by combining<br />

advanced <strong>Mitsubishi</strong> technology with R410A.<br />

Multi Systems have all indoor units operating<br />

in the same mode (cool or heat) at the same<br />

time. They are ideal for open plan areas, such<br />

as large offices, retail shops and stores, fitness<br />

gyms, conference halls. They are not suitable<br />

for indoor units to be installed in separate rooms.<br />

Use the new KX INVERTER Multi Systems for<br />

these applications.<br />
