23. REQTYP - Requisition Type and Status
Identifies the type of service being requested.
NOTE 1:
NOTE 2:
The first character of REQTYP specifies the type of service.
The second character of REQTYP specifies a firm order.
VALID ENTRIES:
1 st Character
A = Loop
B = Loop with Number Portability
C = Number Portability
E = Resale
F = Unbundled Local Switching (Port)
G = Directory Assistance
H = Directory Listing
J = Directory Listing and Assistance
K = Resale Private Line
L = Resale Frame Relay
M = Port/Loop Service and Unbundled Local Switching
N = DID Resale
P = CENTREX Resale

When directory services are ordered in combination with valid entries of
“A”, “B”, “C”, “E”, “F” and “M”, the AFO field should be used to identify
the type of directory request(s).
REQTYP "M" may drive either the Resale Form or the Loop with the
Unbundled Local Switching (PORT) Forms.
Valid entries of “G”, “H”, and “J” should only be used when requesting
stand-alone directory service(s).
2 nd Character
A = Service Inquiry
B = Firm Order
USAGE:
NOTE 1:
This field is required.
This field may not be changed via a SUP. A new LSR must be generated.

2 alpha characters
