(1) Each CBAA department shall invest P 50,000 per floor for the internet router
for CBAA. Funds shall be taken from each department. CLAC shall also do the
same. Coordination shall be made with the Accounting Office
(2) Report on online submission of grades showed a number of faculty who
failed to submit on time. This resulted in some problems with the enrollment.
It was suggested that sanctions be served to these faculty. They will be asked to
explain. A memo shall be served..The FA president suggested that the
possibility of extension of deadline be looked into. A copy of the list shall be
provided to the deans.
(3) Admin recommendation must be submitted by January. Three names per
post shall be submitted. The VCAR reminded that due process must be
observed.
(4) The need for the policy on module-type textbook shall be included.
According to the AVCR, the URO is developing policy on textbook writing.
The AVCR clarified that URO does not anymore fund instructional materials
because of IP implications. Modules and instructional materials may still be
prepared by the departments but they would have to be reconciled with IP
policies. The ownership, production, and distribution needs to be discussed.
AVCR shall call a meeting.

(5) The [GE] proposal should be looked into vis-à-vis the pertinent CMOs of the
colleges. Each dean shall be consulted with regard to the needed subjects.
(6) The CSCS dean shall convene with ICTC, VCFAS, Controller, and CSD to
thresh out the arrangements [for computer laboratory fee].
(7) In the absence of available funds [subsidy for paper presentation], the
following departments and colleges shall be asked to do the following:
Tap contacts following pertinent guidelines
Use trust fund of certain units
Advise faculty to apply earlier even if seminar is scheduled in Summer.
The OVCAR shall request for increase of funds next school year. Implementing
guidelines shall be developed by the FA.
