How Solufeed works
Solufeed formulations are a blend of water soluble ingredients including urea,
ammonium sulphate, mono-ammonium phosphate, magnesium and chelated
micronutrients designed for spray application.
All formulations also contain a buffering agent to reduce the spray tank pH and
thereby aid tankmix compatibility with other Headland products.

Headland N-Sure 28-0-0 and Trisert KS 15-0-12 both contain significant levels
of 'Triazone' and provide a significantly greater longevity of response than when
using quick-release liquids. N-Sure and Trisert KS are extremely safe and have an
inherently lower scorch risk compared to other liquid and soluble fertilisers.
This means that watering-in of Triazone based products is not necessary
from a safety angle – unlike many other liquid fertilisers which may require
supplementary irrigation. The slow release properties of Triazone provide
gradual nitrogen availability to the plant, reducing the amount of clippings
produced even when comparatively large amounts of nutrients are applied.
How N-Sure & Trisert KS work
N-Sure 28-0-0 and Trisert KS 15-0-12 both contain a slow release liquid nitrogen
known as Triazone, (the chemical structure is shown on the right) After application,
microbes break down the chemical bonds holding the Triazone nitrogen and
make it slowly available to the grass plant. This process relies on temperature and
therefore N-Sure and Trisert KS are primarily designed for summer application
once soil temperatures are at or above 14°C. The slow release mechanism of
Triazone provides excellent turf safety, even at temperatures up to 30°C.
