Xtend 46-0-0 Soluble contains Hydrexx in combination with micro-prilled urea<br />
to form a stabilized nitrogen, slow release fertiliser for use on golf course tees,<br />
approaches, surrounds, fairways and semi-rough. In addition, Xtend 46-0-0<br />
Soluble is ideally suited for use on sports pitches, race tracks and polo fields.<br />
Spray applied for maximum flexibility<br />
The micro-prilled urea in Xtend 46-0-0 Soluble offers excellent solubility and<br />
combined with Hydrexx (a water soluble powder containing NBPT and DCD)<br />
forms a unique water-soluble, slow release fertiliser that can be easily spray applied.<br />

Each urea prill in Xtend contains two components<br />
to enhance the release of the nitrogen;<br />
NBPT - Prevents loss of ammonia nitrogen to the<br />
atmosphere by volatilisation, so more nitrogen is<br />
available in the soil.<br />
DCD – Slows down the conversion of ammonium to<br />
nitrate in the soil, maintaining the nitrogen in<br />
ammonium form. Ammonium nitrogen is held<br />
more efficiently in the soil because it binds to clay<br />
and organic matter.<br />

Low application rate and safe to apply<br />
Xtend 46-0-0 Soluble is suitable for application from 20Kg up to 40Kg per<br />
hectare and is safe to use at low water volumes even in the height of summer.<br />
Applications made to fairway and sports pitch areas are typically applied in<br />
300 litres of water per hectare.<br />
Xtend High-N 31-0-0+4MgO Liquid<br />
Xtend Liquid High-N 31-0-0 is a cost-effective, slow-release liquid fertiliser<br />
designed for use on all outfield turf areas. Utilising ammonium and nitrate<br />
nitrogen in addition to Hydexx stabilized urea, 50% of the total applied is cooltemperature<br />
available, the remaining 50% is present in slow release form.<br />
Tank-mixable<br />
Also in common with the Xtend liquid and water soluble formulations, Xtend<br />
Cost effective fertilisation for outfield turf<br />
Xtend 46-0-0 Soluble is an ideal solution for keeping budgets in check and,<br />
typically, applications made at 30Kg of product per hectare are a quarter of the<br />
cost of using a 9-7-7 granular fertiliser, with more longevity, better turf safety<br />
and no fuel and manpower consuming flush of growth.<br />
Liquid High-N is fully tank-mixable with other <strong>Headland</strong> products including<br />
Relay Turf and Cabadex selective herbicides.<br />
High analysis – low application rate<br />
The high specific analysis of Xtend Liquid High-N ensures that low application<br />
rates provide a significant nitrogen input. A bulk 200L drum will treat 10<br />
hectares when applied at the 20 litre / hectare rate.<br />
