2013 Annual Fall Fundraiser
Join us for Bethel’s 60+ Year Old Tradition
Saturday, October 19 from 11am-2pm
Come “kick off the new
school year” at the Bethel
Elementary Fall Carnival.
Bring your entire family,
friends and neighbors and
have a great time at this
annual event! Our theme
this year is TEAM Spirit!
“Soaring on the Wings of
Change” can be witnessed
throughout our school and
the annual carnival is no
exception. We are excited
to bring back 50 cent
ticket pricing and NO admission
fee! All games and
activities will be “pay per
play” meaning no wristbands
will be offered. Tickets
are our “carnival currency”
and will be available to purchase
at multiple locations
throughout the activities
area during the event
ONLY.
Come out and have a blast
spending time with family
and making new friends
while enjoying a variety of
games and festive activities
for all ages. Be sure to
come hungry! The Bethel
Snack Shack will be offering
hot dogs, chips, nachos,
sno-cones, popcorn, a variety
of drink options and of
course the ever popular—
COTTON CANDY! Don’t
miss our Basket-O-Mania
area to bid on a chance to
win one or more of our
amazing raffle baskets!
As one of the school’s main
fundraiser, the TEAM
Spirit carnival will help
raise money for 20+ enrichment
programs and school
improvements planned for
the 2013-2014 school year.

be raffled off! Adult meal tickets
will be available for purchase the
week before the cook out.

WOW...so many baskets—who’s going to WIN!?
Bethel families are asked to make a monetary donation to
contribute to the Bethel Grade Level baskets. Your combined
donations will purchase the items for these raffle
baskets and are always a big hit with EVERYONE including
the kids! Collection begins Sept. 16 through Sept. 27th.
Simply return your envelope with your donation and let us
do the shopping for you! Any amount is greatly appreciated—make
checks payable to
Bethel Elementary School PTO.

In addition to the festive “carnival”
games, activities and FOOD to enjoy
the day of Carnival, there will be many
SPECIAL EVENTS held during the
weeks leading up to “Carnival Day”!
Box Top Raffle
Students are asked to collect BOX
TOPS and attach them to our special
TEAM Spirit form. Each sheet of
twenty tops returned will be entered
into drawings for a turn to toss the
football during the Carnival Assembly
and a chance to win FREE tickets to
spend on Carnival DAY! One name from
each grade level will be drawn so the
more box tops you clip the better your
odds to WIN! Forms will be sent home
and available in the front office.

Bring in your change to help YOUR team
WIN! Gamecocks or Tigers?? Whose
team colors will decorate the carnival
entrance, DJ Tailgate and Ms. Ramsey’s
attire!? Monetary donations will be
collected from October 10-17 during
each lunch period.
