PHILANTHROPIST performing charitable acts * Indicates funds established in 2010 DonoR ADViSeD FunDS Many donors maintain an active interest in the Foundation by participating in a grant making process. Donor Advised Funds encourage donors to offer suggestions for distributions to different charities. This fund type is especially useful for donors who want to take a charitable deduction one year and make distributions from the income or principal over several years. A & e Charitable Fund Established in 2004 to support a wide range of charitable activities as advised by the anonymous donors. American Legion marietta post 64 Fund Established by the members of the American Legion Post 64 to support charitable work in our community as advised by the membership of the Post. Russell Chadwick American Legion post 389 Fund Established by members of Russell Chadwick American Legion Post 389 to support charitable work in our community as advised by the membership of the Post. Anonymous Donor Advised Fund Established in 2008 to support a wide range of charitable activities as advised by the donor. *Dave and Arlene Archer Family Charitable Fund The Dave and Arlene Archer Family Charitable Fund was established in 2010 to support a wide range of charitable activities as advised by the donors. David & Suzanne Baker Charitable Fund Created in 2005 to serve a variety of charitable interests as advised by the donors, David and Suzanne Baker. Barden Family Charitable Fund Established in 2007 to support a wide range of charitable activities as advised by the donors, Bruce and Jennifer Barden. Louis & Heidi Bett memorial Fund Established to honor the memory of Lou Bett, to help support both Marietta and Parkersburg Catholic High Schools, by funding programs not funded by state money and awarding scholarships to graduating seniors in the Education or Nursing fields. mark Boston memorial Fund Established to honor the memory of Mark Boston to help support area children who are in need of assistance. Stanton W. Brock Art Discovery Fund Established to honor the memory of artist, Stanton W. Brock, by promoting art of all types and artists of all ages, with emphasis on the non performing arts. Capitolium Literary Society Fund Established in 2010 by the Society members as a donor advised fund to promote and support charitable activities that focus on literacy and a love of reading and learning. Jim Christy Fund for Kids Established to honor the memory of James Michael Christy by making charitable gifts to children in Washington County whose needs are not met through other programs. Lois Bergen Davis memorial Fund for Kids Created in 2007 to provide funds to assist the educational needs of Marietta City School students from first through fifth grade which was her focus during her many years of volunteer service in the Marietta community. marietta elks #477 Charity Fund Established in 2005 by the members of the Elks 477 to support charitable work in our community as advised by the membership of the Lodge. erb Family Fund Established in 2008 to honor the life of John E. Erb with primary focus to fund at a minimum one YMCA youth sports team per quarter and in addition other causes as directed by the Erb Family. William A. & prudence A. Friends of Front Street Charitable Fund Established to support a wide range of charitable activities for the beautification and enhancement of downtown Marietta. Frontier Local economic Development Association Fund Established in 2005 to provide funds for charitable activities as recommended by the Frontier Local Economic Development Association (FLEDA). Leslie Frye endowment Fund Established to honor the memory of Leslie D. Frye by making charitable gifts to causes that were of interest to Leslie as advised by Bret Frye. Dorothy m. Haessly Charitable Fund For general charitable contributions as advised by Norman E. Haessly Jr. Halliday Family Charitable Fund For general charitable contributions as advised by the donors, John and Courtenay Halliday. Jo Harman Charitable Fund Established for the use toward area charitable needs and/or support of deserving PAgE 4

Hays Memorial Fund was established in 2010 to celebrate the memory of Dwight K. and Dorothy S. Hays by supporting local charitable organizations. Joe & Judy’s Giving Fund Established in 2004 to support a wide range of charitable activities as advised by the donors, Joe and Judy Baker. mildred e. & Louis B. Kalter endowment for Humanity Established in 2005 to support a wide range of charitable activities as advised by the donors, Roger and Betsy Kalter. Clare Lewis Kremer Charitable Fund Helps support maintenance and construction of Marietta College buildings and grounds as advised by the donor. *Love Family Foundation Fund The Love Family Foundation Fund was established in 2010 by Allen and Tawni Love to provide support to charities serving the people of Marietta and the Mid-Ohio Valley. Lowell moose Lodge 2382 Fund Established by members of the Moose Lodge in Lowell, Ohio to support charitable work in our community. marietta Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation Fund Established in 2007 by the board of directors of the organization to provide a vehicle for funding of various economic development and/or business promotion activities in the Marietta area. marietta Shrine Club Foundation Established by the members of the Marietta Shrine Club to help meet the needs of crippled or burned children under 18 years of age who reside in Washington County, Ohio. Walter J. & marjorie G. mcCarthy Child Care enrichment & Scholarship Fund Established in April 2007 to support a wide range of charitable activities as advised by the donors, members of the McCarthy Family. *marilyn meeks mHS memorial Fund Established to honor the life of Marilyn Meeks, a high school teacher at Marietta High School, by supporting underprivileged students attending Marietta High School. Mildren Jr. *the mt. moriah 506 order of the eastern Star Fund The Mt. Moriah 506 Order of the Eastern Star Fund was established in 2011 by the members of the group to support charitable work in our community as advised by the membership of the Order. norman J. murray Family Charitable Fund Established in 2005 to support a wide range of charitable activities as advised by the donor. muskingum Valley Area Chamber of Commerce Fund Established in 2008 to support a wide range of charitable activities as advised by the Muskingum Valley Area Chamber of Commerce. natural Resources Conservation & Development Fund Established by the Buckeye Hills Resource, Conservation & Development Council to provide seed money for projects in the 10-county RC&D area. ohio Society for Respiratory Care Established in 2005 to provide a funding vehicle for a number of activities of the society. Oyster, a teacher in Marietta City Schools, to provide needy elementary school children with necessities to help them productively participate in school activities, as advised by Jerrie Berentz and Bonnie Miller. David e. & patricia B. phillips Charitable Fund Established in 2007 to support a wide range of charitable activities as advised by David & Patricia B. Phillips. Roadcap Henry memorial Fund Established in 2009 to honor the lives of William C. Roadcap, Jr. and Howard F. Henry with the primary focus to help underprivileged children pay for their expenses to play sports and in addition other causes directed by the Henry Family. Rutter Family Charitable Fund Established in 2008 to support a wide range of charitable activities as advised by the donors, Joseph and Betty Rutter. Greg Schilling memorial Fund Established in 2010 to honor the life of Greg Schilling by supporting charitable causes in the Fort Frye and Waterford school districts. Settlers Bank Foundation Fund Established in 2005 to support a wide range of charitable activities as advised by the board of directors of Settlers Bank. timothy J. Smith Foundation for the Awareness & prevention of Suicide Established in 2007 to provide funds for families in need of guidance and counseling and other services in suiciderelated situations. Created by Tim’s aunt and uncle, Marge and David Grubb, their interest is to provide some relief in situations potentially or already involving suicide. Jim Stephens “messing About in Boats” Fund Established to honor the memory of Jim Stephens who, like Water Rat in The Wind in the Willows, believed that “there is nothing, absolutely nothing, half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.” The Fund will award charitable contributions benefiting boatbuilding, rowing, cycling, and other participative sports and riverrelated acivities as advised by the Marietta Rowing & Cycling Club. *teri Ann’s Charitable Fund Teri Ann’s Charitable Fund was established to support a wide variety of charitable projects in the Marietta Area.
