Anchorage Roof Replacement project<br />

Created to assist the Washington County<br />

Historical Society with their Anchorage<br />

roof replacement project. The remainder<br />

of the funds will be used towards the<br />

installation of the patio.<br />

medical Fund<br />

Established to provide resources for medical<br />

purposes of shelter animals exclusively,<br />

not to include spay/neuter expenses.<br />

new Facilities Fund<br />

Established in 2009 by an anonymous<br />

donor to provide seed money for the<br />

building of a new shelter facility. The fund<br />

may be used only for the purchase of<br />

property to erect an energy-efficient animal<br />

shelter or to erect said animal shelter<br />

on the present property. Any remaining<br />

funds shall be used as an endowment to<br />

provide for the continued maintenance<br />

and future enhancements of the new<br />

facility.<br />

The Jack Louis Iams Fund is a permanent<br />

endowment established through the<br />

generosity of Jack Iams to ensure the<br />

future of the historic <strong>Marietta</strong> property,<br />

the Benefit of St. Mary’s Church<br />

Established in 2006 from the estate of<br />

Richard P. Kremer with the principal to be<br />

maintain a dog exercise park on property<br />

provided and maintained by the City<br />

of <strong>Marietta</strong> for use by the dog owners of<br />

the community to exercise their dogs in<br />

an unleashed, protected area.<br />

Fund<br />

The MCF Dominion Resources Food<br />

Pantry Fund was created by the <strong>Marietta</strong><br />

<strong>Community</strong> <strong>Foundation</strong>, with assistance<br />

from the Dominion Gas <strong>Foundation</strong>, to<br />

support the Washington County Food<br />

Pantry Network.<br />

mid-ohio Valley Dragon Boat Fund<br />

Created in 2006 through the inspiration<br />

of Gretchen Feldmaier to encourage<br />

and support people living with cancer<br />

to “Awaken the Dragon” within them<br />

through the sport of dragon boat racing.<br />

Project Lifesaver program. Project<br />

Lifesaver is a cooperative program of<br />

the Washington County Sheriff’s Department<br />

and the Area Agency on Aging to<br />

purchase portable tracking devices for<br />

patients with Alzheimer’s and other forms<br />

of dementia.<br />

Established in 2005 to create a new skate<br />

park in the city of <strong>Marietta</strong>. Founders<br />

Aaron Reynolds and Alex Wilson and others<br />

seek to provide recreational skating<br />

facilities to enhance the quality of life of<br />

<strong>Marietta</strong> and surrounding area.<br />

Roy B. & ellen e. Snediker Charitable<br />

Fund<br />

Provides expense monies based on need<br />

to leaders of the active chapters of the<br />

Delta Upsilon Fraternity and the Alpha Xi<br />

Delta Sorority at <strong>Marietta</strong> College and to<br />

students studying abroad, as advised by<br />

the donors.<br />
