<strong>Admissions</strong> <strong>Assistant</strong><br />
Reports to: <strong>Admissions</strong> Coordinators<br />
Responsible for:<br />
• Opening the building at 7 rue Chardin<br />
• Ensuring entry area and reception has good organization and presentation<br />
• Checking the entry and exit <strong>of</strong> students (specifically Grades 11 and 12) and visitors to building<br />
• Coordinating the security <strong>of</strong> the building<br />
• Opening and date stamping the mail<br />
• Acknowledging receipt <strong>of</strong> applications and requesting from parents items that are missing<br />
• Helping to ensure timely first response to enquiries by email, telephone or in person<br />
• Assisting in managing calendars <strong>of</strong> <strong>Admissions</strong> Coordinators and Principals<br />
• Filing applications and other materials as required<br />
• Data entry <strong>of</strong> enquiries and applications on a daily basis<br />
• Ensuring database and checklists are up-to-date as new application documents are received<br />
• Scanning and editing photos <strong>of</strong> all new students<br />
• Preparing new student files ready to be given to the Primary and Secondary <strong>School</strong><br />
administrative assistants<br />
• Assisting with the registration and re-registration processes<br />
• Assisting with the running <strong>of</strong> Open Houses and other <strong>Admissions</strong>-related events<br />
• Assisting with admissions mailings<br />
• Assisting with administrative work involved in marketing, research and student recruitment<br />
projects<br />
• Photocopying and scanning admissions documents as required
• Preparing brochures to be given to prospective families<br />
• Any other general administrative tasks as required<br />
Requirements: At least a Bachelor Degree. Applicant needs to speak and write English to native level<br />
and have a very good level <strong>of</strong> written and spoken French, as well as well-developed IT skills. A first<br />
experience in the field or in an international environment would be a plus.<br />
A nationality from one <strong>of</strong> the European Union countries, or valid French work papers is essential.
