Cafe Elevation
The place incorporates cafe, IMC, and a liturgical space that
would be placed on the cross axis paths leading east to west.
The IMC is placed on east while the LS on the west. The IMC is the
hierarchical element in the place, decisions were made to create
a sense of centrality for the IMC. In order to redirect the focus
to the IMC a sense of in the place. The place then shifts in order
to become an asymmetrical design giving the place a break or a
variable to which people can identify as a main focal point. The
IMC is also lined with single row of lindens trimmed while the LS
has an allee of linden trees which gives off the appearance of a
private precinct within the zone unlike the IMC which has less
objects obstructing the commuters vision.
