Warfarin management
The TGA encourages the collection of data on reporting rates of warfarin, however has no
specific comment on these indicators (CIs 5.1–5.5). As other anticoagulants gain market
prominence, their potential for exacerbating morbidity and mortality may need to be monitored.
The TGA suggests that consideration be given to collecting data on the use of other
anticoagulants as they become available.
