Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time

AN ONGOING MISSION
are amazed by his words. Nevertheless, they

eternal nature of love. Love does not come to
contained. Jesus slips through the crowd of
persecutors and moves on to new challenges.
We are called to this same perseverance in the
name of love.

World Day for Consecrated Life
Sunday, February 3rd
Today we celebrate World Day for
Consecrated Life. Over the years, many men
and women have chosen to live out their
baptismal vocation by professing the
evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity, and
obedience. They do this by joining a religious
congregation, a secular institute, or through
private vows. We pray for these people and
ask God to bless our Church with others who
will dedicate their lives to God's service.

Ser ra Club Meeting
Serrans believe that when members gather for
prayer, a meal, conversation and a speaker, they
grow in faith and are inspired and challenged by
each other. Please come to the next meeting of
the Wright County Serra Club on Thursday,
February 14th, at Christ the King Retreat Center.
The speaker is Shirley Wanchena, the founder of
the Retreat Center Pacem in Terris, in St. Francis,
MN. Pacem in Terris is latin for Peace on Earth.

Love INC- 4 th Quarter Stats for 2012
# of volunteers = 304
# of volunteer hours = 1,772
# of people served = 3,974
Edith came into the Clearinghouse in December
looking for help. She and her 4 kids had just moved
to Buffalo from northern Minnesota to get away
from a dangerous relationship so dangerous she
had to change her name. They moved into a trailer
in Buffalo with no beds or a stove. Love INC was
able to provide 3 beds for the family, and a
volunteer purchased a stove and had it delivered to
her. When Edith was in our office, we were able to
share the Gospel and pray with her. She gave us
permission to have a local pastor call and invite her
support group there. Praise God He is working in
-Big Woods!
