World Day for Consecrated Life<br />

Today we celebrate World Day for<br />
Consecrated Life. Over the years, many men<br />
<strong>and</strong> women have chosen to live out their<br />
baptismal vocation by professing the<br />
evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity, <strong>and</strong><br />
obedience. They do this by joining a religious<br />
congregation, a secular institute, or through<br />
private vows. We pray for these people <strong>and</strong><br />
ask God to bless our <strong>Church</strong> with others who<br />
will dedicate their lives to God's service.
