Edith came into the Clearinghouse in December<br />
looking for help. She <strong>and</strong> her 4 kids had just moved<br />
to Buffalo from northern Minnesota to get away<br />
from a dangerous relationship so dangerous she<br />
had to change her name. They moved into a trailer<br />
in Buffalo with no beds or a stove. Love INC was<br />
able to provide 3 beds for the family, <strong>and</strong> a<br />
volunteer purchased a stove <strong>and</strong> had it delivered to<br />
her. When Edith was in our office, we were able to<br />
share the Gospel <strong>and</strong> pray with her. She gave us<br />
permission to have a local pastor call <strong>and</strong> invite her<br />
<br />
<br />
support group there. Praise God He is working in<br />

Childcare Volunteers Needed<br />
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) needs helpers in<br />
their childcare program at Buffalo Covenant <strong>Church</strong>.<br />

Community Center to present two workshops. Healthy<br />
Eating for Successful Living <strong>and</strong> A Matter of Balance.<br />

A 6-week workshop on Healthy Eating for<br />

A Matter of Balance is designed to reduce the fear<br />
of falling <strong>and</strong> increase activity levels among older<br />
adults. Participants learn to set realistic goals to<br />

reduce fall risk factors, <strong>and</strong> learn simple exercises<br />
to increase strength <strong>and</strong> balance.<br />
